If you haven't yet reached the 24-month mark or paid the £299 buyout, ownership of the website doesn't transfer, and hosting will end at the close of your final billing period. If you'd like to keep the site running, you can pay the remaining balance towards the £299 buyout at any point before cancelling.
Yes — the business email mailbox needs a domain connected to it in order to work. If you don't already have one, I can help you register or connect one alongside your hosting.
